Fees & insurance
The money part,stated plainly.
Therapy is an investment, and you shouldn’t have to email three times to learn what it costs. So here it is — every number, up front.
Under the federal No Surprises Act you also have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your care’s cost. Ask, and one is provided before you begin.

Asked on nearly every first call
How do I know if my insurance covers our sessions?
Call the member-services number on the back of your card and ask about outpatient mental-health benefits with an LMHC. Or simply ask me during the consultation — I’m happy to help you verify coverage before we begin, so there are no surprises.
What if you’re out of network with my plan?
Many plans reimburse a meaningful portion of out-of-network psychotherapy. I can provide a monthly superbill — an itemized receipt you submit to your insurer — and help you find out what your plan will return before you commit.
How does the sliding scale work?
A limited number of reduced-fee spots are held for people who may be eligible. If the full fee is the only thing standing between you and starting, raise it on our first call — it’s a normal conversation here, not an awkward one.
Is the 15-minute consultation really free?
Yes — no charge and no obligation. It exists so you can ask questions, tell me briefly what’s going on, and get a feel for whether working together makes sense. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to point you toward someone who is.
