About Joseph Robson

By the time most people call me, they’ve already tried to handle it alone — often for years.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, and trauma. My training is psychodynamic — I’m less interested in managing your symptoms from the outside than in understanding, with you, why they exist at all: the behaviors, thoughts, and patterns that limit your ability to move forward, and what they were built to protect. I’m currently in my third year of psychoanalytic training, deepening exactly that kind of work.

Alongside that work, I provide supportive psychotherapy: steady, practical help for the weeks when insight isn’t the point — when what you need is someone in your corner while you get through something hard.

What I can promise is a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space. My clients speak openly here — about the intrusive thought they’ve never repeated to anyone, the thing they did or didn’t do, the grief that won’t resolve on schedule. Nothing you bring in will be met with alarm.
